Welcome to the Rural Trades Network

If your answer is yes to one or more of the following questions, you should consider joining the Rural Trades Network, the rural skills employment and training network for the Craven District and the Yorkshire Dales. It’s free to join and could open doors to new opportunities.
- Do you have skills and experience in one or more of our target trades?
- Would you like to learn new skills, or extend your existing skills, in these areas of work?
- Do you run a contracting business but find it difficult to find local people with the right skills when you need them?
- Do you have skills and experience in a rural trade but would like to obtain a recognised qualification to back this up?
- Would you like to be kept in touch with issues that may affect you, such as new legislation or business development opportunities?
- Do you have rural trade skills that you’d like to teach others?
- Are you a property, business or land owner who needs to find a reliable and suitably qualified contractor to carry out some work?
- Do you supply materials, equipment or services to the building, heritage or countryside management sector?
If you said yes to any one or more of these questions, you may want to consider registering your details in our online database. Please include an e-mail address, if you have one, as it makes it easier for us to send you your registration details. Alternatively, if you'd like more information first, please get in touch.
This site is being developed and extended all the time, so please visit us again soon.
